Kagbeni to Muktinath
In and through Jarkhot on the way to Muktinath.
Woman approaching us as we rest a bit.
Muktinath was close enough that we took lunch there.
Bhuddist and Hindu (bell) coexistence.
Lintel above the entrance to the most important Vishnu temple for Hindu Brahmans.
Bells and some of the 108 bathing fountains in the background.
The temple itself.
The 108 fountains.
Reflecting pool in front.
Prayer flags floating atop the Bhuddist monastery/temple where a natural gas
flame has burned for hundreds of hears. Unfortunately, it was closed or the
caretaker(s) were away.
Brass bull head fountain below Bhuddist "eternal flame" temple.
Inside a Bhuddist convent where I bought some souvenirs to help support the
nuns' work.
On the way back into Muktinath.
In front of the GH. I did not give these babus the sweets.
Sunset scenes from the guest house roof.
