The Pyramids. Giza, Saqarra and Diseh.

All three.

Heiroglyphics in a tomb at Saqarra.

A false door.

The step pyramid at Saqqara.

A date tree grove on the edge of the Saqqara site.

At the Red Pyramid.

I didn't ask for this photo. I obliged and, of course, they were waiting for their baksheesh when I emerged from the pyramid.

The bent pyramid. So named because the architects had to change to the more stable 43 degree angle after discovering the steeper approach was unstable.

The black pyramid.

Oasis greenery.

This time with local fauna.

On our way back to Cairo.
